Tour Plan

Day 1. Tarangire national park Hotel 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner Accommodation: NGARE LOGDE MTO WA MBU Arrival at Arusha airport on your flight arrival time, you will be met by one of our drivers at the airport for a start drive to Tarangire national park Depending on the season your game drive will be in the Tarangire National Park. The better part of today is spent on a Game drive in the Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its enormous herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and having the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the tarangire. During the dry season (June-Sept), animals flock from hundreds of miles to drink from the Tarangire River. Arrive at the ngare lodge in time for dinner Day 2; Serengeti national park Accommodation: Tanzania bush camp Hotel; 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner Early breakfast at 6:00 am. Drive en route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, herds of lions, and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards Day 3, Serengeti National Park Accommodation; Tanzania bush camp Hotel; Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner Today, head back out for a full day of game drives, examining one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Little has changed in the Serengeti over the past million or so years. Here you still find the renowned plains intermingled with wooded hills, massive termite mounds, rocky kopjes, and acacia tree-lined rivers. Depending on the time of year you may be able to witness the Wildebeest Migration (Dec-July), or an abundance of predators (June-Oct). Day 4 Ngorongoro crater 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner Accommodation: ngare lodge Today descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day tour. As the world’s largest caldera (nearly 100 square miles), Ngorongoro boasts over 20,000 large animals, including Tanzania’s remaining black rhino. Living along-side the abundance of wildlife you will find 40,000 Maasai pastoralists with their cattle, goats, and sheep. The conservation gives you a rare look into how people harmoniously lived with nature and wildlife in ancient times. In the evening head to ngare lodge for you night. Day 5 village tour and local lunch mto wa mbu village Breakfast, 1 Lunch 1 This is a beautiful combination of a hike in the untamed nature of the Great Rift Valley and a cultural tour in the nearby Mto wa Mbu. During the hike, you enjoy beautiful views over Lake Manyara National Park and see many birds, monkeys, and other forest animals. In the village Mto wa Mbu your guide teaches you more about local life. At the same time, you stroll through the village and pass by banana plantations and afternoon local lunch before heading to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. You are dropped off at either Arusha, or the airport for your onward journey.
