Morning:
Wake up early for a hearty breakfast at the lodge.
Meet your guide and head to the Mgahinga National Park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations.
After the briefing, embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in the dense forests of Mgahinga. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families.
Once you locate a gorilla family, spend an awe-inspiring hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, while your guide provides insights into their behavior and conservation efforts.
Afternoon:
After trekking back to the park headquarters, enjoy a well-deserved lunch at the lodge.
Spend the afternoon at leisure, either relaxing at the lodge or engaging in optional activities such as birdwatching or visiting the nearby Batwa community.

After the tracking experience, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
Afternoon:
Check out from the lodge and bid farewell to the beautiful Mgahinga National Park.
Begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport, stopping en route for refreshments and to stretch your legs.
