Tour Plan

Upon Arrival in Nairobi, our representative will meet you at the airport, assist and transfer you to The Emara Ole Sereni hotel for overnight. Meals and other services can be arranged on prior notice. If already pre-planned for arrival logistics, kindly inform us so that we exempt the cost during costing.

The Safari commences in Nairobi, Kenya's capital and takes you to Nanyuki. On the way you can easily site the pineapple plantations in Thika and the vast coffee plantations in Nyeri. Lunch will be served in Sweetwaters Serena Camp in Ol Pejeta. Later you will enjoy an afternoon game drive and a Visit to the rhino sanctuary where you can feed the tamed black rhino in a specially created feeding platform. . Black rhinos are by nature very aggressive and territorial and this will probably be your only opportunity of ever getting close to one of these magnificent and endangered creatures. Be sure to have your camera ready for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will also get a chance to Visit the Morani information centre before returning to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

On this day you will have a full day game drive with a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the only place in Kenya where these highly endangered and incredibly intelligent primates can be found. The sanctuary provides a haven for orphaned and abused chimpanzees that enjoy roaming freely in their vast natural enclosure. Many of the chimps that are taken to the sanctuary have been orphaned due to the abuse of man, and often arrive traumatized and ill. Through hard work and dedication, the staff assists the chimps in their rehabilitation and integration into one of the two groups within the reserve. The chimpanzees here can never be reintroduced into the wild and guests can 'adopt' one for a fee. The revenue collected goes back into the sanctuary to aid its ongoing operations. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena camp

After breakfast, you will check out and Join our tour driver for yet another day of experience. He will drive you from the Laikipia plains through the rift valley escarpments to the floor oft the valley where Lake Nakuru National park lies. Here you will check in to your lodge and have lunch after which you will tour the Lake Nakuru National Park. Created in 1961 to protect the alkaline lake of the same name, the park offers typical plains vegetation. Located 156 km northwest of Nairobi, Lake Nakuru derives its name from the Masai word "Enakuro" which means cloud of dust. It is home to many herbivores including Rothschild's giraffe, buffalo, hippo, gazelle and nearly 55 mammals including lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, rock hyraxes and reedbuck. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for hosting both white and black rhinoceros, reintroduced after many years’ absences. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lionhill lodge

After breakfast, you will leave Nakuru for the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. Covering an area of 1510 km², the Masai Mara reserve is in fact the extension in Kenyan territory of the vast Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Together, they constitute a huge ecosystem in which animals move freely. All large African animals are present. Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, impala, Kirk’s dik-dik, bushbuck, topi, buffalo, ellipsen waterbuck, eland and giraffe, all are there. Famous for its rich wildlife, the Masai Mara is home to not only the "Big 5" (elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard) but also many birds (over 500 species of birds have been recorded). Along the rivers, crocodiles and hippos lie in wait. Composed of vast rolling plains and hills, the Masai Mara is dotted with umbrella thorn acacias and thorny thickets. In the Maa language, Mara means "spotted" and may refer to the colorful landscapes. Alternatively, the name may refer to the arrival of over two million herbivores during the annual migration (wildebeest, gazelles and zebras). After Check-In, Lunch will be served at the lodge and later in the afternoon you will commence your Mara Experience with a game drive. Dinner and overnight Mara Serena safari lodge

After an early morning breakfast, you will spend the full day on game drives exploring this spectacular reserve which together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-system and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-systems. Your driver guide will be in constant communication with a radio call to locate where the major sightings might be. With luck, you might be able to locate all the big five. You will drive back to the lodge for lunch and later an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Balloon safari in the Masai Mara(Optional), a magical experience as you take in a bird's eye view of the vast, rolling plains below you. This unique and exhilarating excursion takes place early in the morning when you can marvel at the fantastic sight of the rising sun and gently float over the thousands of animals below you. This is the best time to spot wildlife as well as enjoy the peaceful vistas and crisp, clear air. Undisturbed by your presence, the animals will continue with their daily activities as you snap away and marvel at the beauty of Africa. The balloon safari ends by touching down in the wilds of the Masai Mara to enjoy a delectable champagne breakfast. You will then proceed with the morning breakfast till time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have another game drive just to sum up and conclude the magical experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Upon landing in Diani, you will be transferred to the hotel where you will have the rest of the evening exploring the beach after a long days travel. Dinner and overnight Swahili beach resort and spa

After breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel for a Swahili-style day excursion to Wasini Island. Your day will begin on a tasty note as you hop aboard a dhow (traditional fisherman’s boat) for a hearty Swahili lunch that dishes up the most sensational flavours out of simple ingredients and includes fresh tropical fruit. Once you have had your fill, your excursion heads off to the nearby Kisite Marine National Park where swimming and snorkelling can be enjoyed in warm, calm waters that support a treasure chest of aquatic creatures and, more often than not, pods of friendly and curious dolphins. This highly popular tourist destination is renowned for its clear water, colourful coral reefs and ideal snorkelling conditions year-round. (Optional activities to be quoted on request). In the evening you will head back to your hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

You will have a full day at leisure as you explore the shores and talk about the safari for the past busy drives. Meals will be provided at the hotel and you can as well request for more refreshments at a small cost. The driver and transport will also be available to take you for optional activities like a city tour of Mombasa and historical structures of the Fort Jesus. Dinner and overnight at Swahili Beach Resort and Spa

After a lengthy trip it will finally be time to wave goodbye. After breakfast you will be transferred to the Mombasa SGR Station for a train to Nairobi. You will be picked at the Nairobi terminus and transferred to the airport for departure. (A flight can be arranged in advance from Diani to Nairobi at an extra cost)
