Tour Plan

After being picked up at the hotel or the airport you will depart for Tarangire, which is Tanzania's third-largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park—they dwarf the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park while carrying a packed lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive, and later in the evening, you will return to Embalakai tented camp for an overnight stay. Serengeti National Park is the oldest and most popular national park in Tanzania. It is a world heritage site recently proclaimed the 7th worldwide wonder. The Serengeti is famous for its annual migration, where over six million hooves pound the open plains, as over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson's gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek in search of fresh grazing. However, even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers Africa's most scintillating game viewing. You can spot great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands upon thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle. “Serengeti” is a Maasai word that means “Endless Plains.”.

We will once more enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our game drive at about 6:30 am, spending 6-7 hours exploring this incredible park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. It is most well-known, however, for its great migrating herds of zebras (two hundred and fifty thousand), wildebeest (one and a half million!), and antelope (half a million). The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, we may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, stalking their prey. At roughly 2:00 pm, we will head back to Ngorongoro, arriving at our carefully selected mid-range partner lodge in time for dinner.

An early breakfast then a packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro descend into the crater for a Game drive, in the afternoon stop at the picnic site for lunch then proceed with a game drive until late afternoon ascend to the top and drive to Arusha for an overnight stay Ngorongoro One of the World’s largest Calderas, 20 km wide, Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the best Wildlife viewing areas where Black Rhinos can be seen in Tanzania. The crater at 2.286 m above sea level is the largest unbroken Calderas in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls, rising 610 m from the crate floor, it covers 260 km2 and is home to over 30.000 animals, almost half of them being zebra and wildebeest. Ngorongoro is listed as a World Heritage site.
