This is a fantastic safari that takes you to Uganda’s southwestern part in Bwindi National Park where you will be tracking gorillas, Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa, it is this trip that you will be exposed to Uganda’s most adventurous savanna national park which is the most visited national park due to its unique wildlife and extensive Kazinga Channel a water body that joins Lake Edward and Lake Gorge. This beautiful safari will bring you in close contact with the Equator where you will take pictures while your legs are standing in different hemispheres of the world.

Tour Plan

On this day, our driver guide will pick you up from either the hotel or the airport, he will brief you about the safari and then hit the road to Lake Mburo National Park which is the closest national park to Kampala and Entebbe International Airport. You will drive for about 1:30hours to reach Kayabwe where you will find the Equator crossing, you will take pictures, and engage in the Equator experience, you will later embark on the road to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for lunch, and you will check in the lodge, have a hot lunch and then go for an evening boat cruise on the lake. Here you expect to see birds like shoebills, egrets, and cormorants, and animals like buffaloes, zebras, impalas, hippopotamuses, and crocodiles swimming close to you as well. You will enjoy the sunset as you head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Arise in the early morning, meet your driver guide, and head to the jungle to catch animals when they are very active here you will have a great chance to meet nocturnal animals such as leopards, bush-babies, and foxes among others. You will be welcomed by herds of zebras and buffaloes, elands, bushbucks, and birds among other wildlife. You will return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will drive south of Lake Mburo National Park as you continue thriving in the beauty of Uganda, you will first brunch for a scenic view of the Twin lakes, the view is breathtaking, thereafter proceed to the lodge, check-in, have a delicious lunch and in the evening, you will go a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will find millions of birds, animals will be swimming and drinking water well. A boat cruise on the Kazinga channel is the best water activity in East Africa which connects Uganda to the Democratic Republic of Congo, you will do an evening game drive at Kasenyi.

Arise in the morning and drive to Kazinga Channel for a morning game drive here you will be able to see animals like elephants, buffaloes, and hippos returning from their grazing, and if you are lucky you will meet leopards and lions launching an attack. After a boat cruise you will embark on the road to Bwindi, arriving in the afternoon, checking in to your hotel, and enjoying a hot lunch in the evening you will visit the Batwa community and expect to entertain you through songs, and dances among others. After this enjoyment, you will retire to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arise in the early morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide, and be transferred to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking etiquette. You will be assigned a gorilla family to track then head to the jungle with a ranger guide who will help you to locate the gorillas, after you have met these primates, you will spend an hour with them, taking pictures and videos, then return to the park headquarters to receive your tracking certificate, meet your driver guide to transfer you to the lodge and check-out and transfer back to Entebbe to mark the end of your safari.
