Tour Plan

You will be picked up at the aiport and driven by private transfer to Arusha, to your booked hotel. Your guide will come and give you an introduction to the whole safari. At noon you will be picked up and driven to the unique cultural centre, 'Cultural Heritage Gallery' on the outskirts of Arusha. The variety of sculptures, masks, furniture, drawings and photos from all parts of Africa on display here is extremely impressive and worth visiting. Return to the lodge for welcome dinner and overnight.

On this day we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park which approximately 2 hours and enjoy a full day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the smaller national parks in Tanzania, but it still offers beautiful landscapes and is home to an interesting number of wildlife. The lake itself is an alkaline lake and reaches a maximum depth of 3.7 m. This park is a real highlight for bird lovers, as over 400 species of birds live here. Other residents of the park include elephants, buffalo, hippos, baboons, waterbuck, impalas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The park has large numbers of leopards, but sightings are rare due to the thick vegetation. With a bit of luck you can catch a glimpse of the famous "tree lions" that climb trees. Late afternoon return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Early morning after breakfast, we drive from our campsite straight to Serengeti National Park. On our way we will pass by Ngorongoro conservation area whereby we will see baboons, zebras and antelopes on our way. The Serengeti is the largest park which is also known as the endless plain originated from a maasai word ‘Siringitu’. The Serengeti National Park is home to more than 3 million wild animals and here is where the great migration of more than a million of wildebeests and more than 200000 zebras take place. We will have a picnic lunch at the gate and after that we will continue with our game viewing until in the late afternoon where we will drive straight to our campsite inside Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

Another day in the Serengeti National Park awaits you today. The 'endless plains' of the Serengeti are home to an extraordinarily large number of wildlife in north eastern Tanzania - Tanzania's border turns it into Kenya's famous Masai Mara. Predators viewing here is excellent with around 4,000 lions and large numbers of cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. Other animals frequently found in the park are topi, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, elephant, caracal, serval, bat-eared fox, hyrax, wildebeest, rabbit, warthog, aardvark, giraffe, jackal, mongoose, crocodile, monitor lizard, aardwolf, many types of primates, including baboons and colobus monkeys and over 500 species of birds. After Lunch and extensive game drive, we drive straight to our campsite for dinner and overnight.

Early morning after breakfast, we will drive from Serengeti National Park for our final game drive inside this park and focus on the Ngorongoro crater whereby we will drive for approximately 1 and a half hour to reach Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro Crater, which offers a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop and is the best place in East Africa to see the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard). Ngorongoro National Park is one of the most beautiful safari locations in the world and an extraordinary place to meet people from the Maasai tribe. The Crater and the surrounding highlands together form one of the most beautiful regions in Africa. Volcanic craters make a great backdrop to some of the most fertile and richest pasture land in Africa. The 610 m deep caldera with an area of around 260 square kilometres is a closed ecosystem. After a delicious picnic near the hippo pool and further game drive in the afternoon, we will back to our campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the early morning we drive to Tarangire. With a game viewing area roughly ten times the size of the nearby Manyara National Park and an exceptionally high concentration of wild animal from July to October, this seasonal Tanzania safari park is a little gem on the northern safari route. Elephants are the main attraction with up to 3,000 animals living in the park during peak months. In the high season there are also many wildebeest and zebras as well as giraffes, buffalo, Thompson's gazelles, warthogs, larger and smaller kudu, leopard and cheetah. Tarangire is also one of the best bird watching destinations in Tanzania. After lunch at the picnic site inside the park and further game viewing, we drive to Arusha which marks the end of our adventure with us.
