You will be picked up at the aiport and driven by private transfer to Arusha, to your booked hotel. Your guide will come and give you an introduction to the whole safari. At noon you will be picked up and driven to the unique cultural centre, 'Cultural Heritage Gallery' on the outskirts of Arusha. The variety of sculptures, masks, furniture, drawings and photos from all parts of Africa on display here is extremely impressive and worth visiting. Return to the lodge for welcome dinner and overnight.
In the early morning we drive to Tarangire. With a game viewing area roughly ten times the size of the nearby Manyara National Park and an exceptionally high concentration of wild animal from July to October, this seasonal Tanzania safari park is a little gem on the northern safari route. Elephants are the main attraction with up to 3,000 animals living in the park during peak months. In the high season there are also many wildebeest and zebras as well as giraffes, buffalo, Thompson's gazelles, warthogs, larger and smaller kudu, leopard and cheetah. Tarangire is also one of the best bird watching destinations in Tanzania. Afternoon return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early morning after breakfast, we drive straight to Western corridor of Serengeti also known as Grumeti to follow the migration. On the way we will pass through Ngorongoro conservation area whereby we will see animals on the way like the elephant, zebras, gazelle, baboon as well as different birds species. We will pass through Seronera which is the central Serengeti whereby there is a lot to see on the way like the giraffes, hippos, hyaena, wildebeests, lions, cheetahs, buffalos and many more. Our main target is the western corridor where the migration is likely to be during May to the end of July whereby the wildebeests attempt to cross the Grumeti river with hungry crocodiles waiting for their luck to catch their prey while crossing the river. Here you will find the most precious scenes that can never go without photos from from your camera. After a picnic lunch and an extensive game viewing, we will drive straight to the accommodation for dinner and overnight in your rooms.
This day is dedicated fully on the western Serengeti whereby after breakfast, you will proceed with your game drive exploring this hemisphere of the Serengeti. Along the way you will be able to see the open savanna, woodlands, floodplains as well as riverine forest which are home to a great diversity of year-round wildlife including the hippos, elephants, giant nile crocodiles, rare colobus monkeys and the localized Kongoni antelopes. After lunch at the picnic site and a further game drive, we drive back to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early rise and shine! Today we will do a final game drive on the western Serengeti whereby we will also get a unique opportunity to explore the central Serengeti also known as Seronera which is good for wildlife viewing all year round. You will have a picnic lunch at the picnic site and after that drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner and overnight awaiting for your next adventure inside the unbroken Caldera the following day.
Today we dedicate ourselves to the Ngorongoro Crater, which offers a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop and is the best place in East Africa to see the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard). Any safari in northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. It is one of the most beautiful nature safari locations in the world and an extraordinary place to meet people from the Massai tribe. The Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding highlands together form one of the most beautiful regions in Africa. Volcanic craters make a great backdrop to some of the most fertile and richest pasture land in Africa. The most famous crater of this type is without question Ngorongoro, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and is home to the highest density of large game in Africa. Ngorongoro is rightly one of the most famous safari destinations on the continent. In the afternoon we drive to Arusha which is the end of your adventure with us.
