Tour Plan

Depart Nairobi at 0800hrs for the Amboseli National Park. The park lies at the foot of Mt.Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The snow capped peak of Mt.Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds dominates every aspect of this park. The snows of the Kilimanjaro white and crystalline form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most spectacular display of wildlife- the lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of the plain’s game creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s paradise. You will arrive at the park in time for lunch. After lunch, relax at the camp as you familiarize with the new environment awaiting your first game drive in the park. Afternoon game drive will introduce you to big herds of elephants which are common in the park. You will also have a chance to see many other wild animals including the cats. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Tented Camp in Amboseli.

After your breakfast, you will embark on a game drive in search of wild animals with great opportunity of taking their photos against a background of the Africa’s highest mountain. This will continue until lunch time when you will get back to the camp for your lunch followed by a brief rest at the camp. An evening game drive always gives visitors a chance to see animals more active after emerging from their hideouts where they take shelter from the midday sunlight. There is always a high chance of seeing the cats hunting either in the morning or evenings. All meal and overnight at the camp.

Depart Amboseli early in the morning Via Nairobi and drive to the Great Rift Valley with a brief stopover at the view point for photography. You will arrive to the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos. Arrival is in time for lunch with the whole afternoon set aside for game drive. During your game drive, you will visit the lake to see the flamingoes which together with rhinos have made the park very popular for any visitor touring Kenya. The number of flamingoes have reduced recently due to the flooding of the lake. However, the experience is enhanced by presence of many other wild animals including the lions, leopard, rhinos, zebras, hyenas, antelopes and many others. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Wooland

Morning game drive, watch and photograph birds and animals followed by your breakfast and then depart for Masai Mara. Arrive at Sarova Mara Game camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive will introduce you to this famous national reserve know for its great abundance of wildlife. Its also known as the host of the Great Migration of the wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at Olmoran Tented Camp.

After a hefty buffet breakfast in the Camp you will embark on a game viewing drive in search for wild animals. You will drive to the famous Mara River in search of hippos and crocodiles; here you will also witness The Great Migration of the Wildebeests from the neighboring Serengeti plains.This an annual event which takes place between the month of July and late September and was named as one of the Seven New Wonders of The World. Enroute you will also see the Kenya-Tanzania border that marks one side of the Mara Triangle. You will have your lunch in the park and proceed on a game drive probably in search of animals not seen so far.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing early morning game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve before we head back to Nairobi City arriving late in the afternoon. Thereafter we can take you straight to the airport or we drop you off at your preferred hotel. End of Masai Mara Holiday.
