Arusha City. Located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru. Arusha City is a major international diplomatic hub. You will be given a briefing about your Wildlife & Wilderness Safari.

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will meet our driver guide who will welcome you and drive to Olpopongi Massai – Village where you will spend your day & night in the authentic Maasai-Village Olpopongi and share 24 hours with native Maasai. Museum & Village Tour, traditional lunch, learn about Maasai hunting techniques and about incredible natural medicine plus evening program with Maasai ceremonies and diner. Enjoy a unique and unforgettable evening under the Tanzania starry sky with BBQ & Maasai traditional ceremony before you find yourself sleeping on a comfortable Cowhide bed in your private, Dinner and overnight at Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village.
Early morning activities with the Masai warrior in Olpopongi, after the morning walk you will enjoy traditional tea with one of the oldest women in the region to learn about the culture and traditions of the Maasai tribe. Later drive to Arusha National Park for afternoon game viewing with picnic lunch served at the momela lake, evening drive to Arusha city for overnight.
Depart with your naturalist guide for Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephant. A bush walk and a cultural visit with the semi-nomadic tribes are also included. Diner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, you will arrive at the Naabi hills gate and after formalities you will enter Serengeti and probably the greatest park on earth. This park, undoubtedly the most famous in the world, covers over 14 000 sq. km and offers amongst many other things the biggest concentration of big cats in the world (Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Wild cats…). Many different landscapes can be found in the Serengeti: Savannah with the big plains to the south, hills & woods to the west, the kopjes area to the east, and bush land to the north. Important rivers (Seronera, Banagi, Grumeti ) also run through the park. Many different species of mammals can be spotted during game drives, elephant, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes… hippo and crocodile can also be found. Diner and overnight Serengeti Tortilis Camp.
Full day game drives through west-north corridors of Serengeti where the great migration is preparing itself to start their journey back to northern Serengeti where they will cross the Mara River from The Mara Reserve in Kenya to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds and up to ten thousand elephants. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp.
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation, descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering-holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. You will find the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard among others. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meter from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, later ascend and arrive at your lodge in Karatu area for a sunset, dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mto wa Mbu for cultural visit to the local women and learn how they do their daily activities including farming, small women financing groups, you will have local lunch with the local women to taste the local African food and proceed to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
