Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport where our driver guide will transfer you to Arusha City. Located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru. Arusha City is a major international diplomatic hub. You will be given a briefing about your Wildlife & Wilderness Safari. Overnight at Planet Lodge.
After Breakfast, 0800hrs depart to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephant. Late afternoon drive to your lodge on the hills of Sangaiwe boardering Tarangire National Park for dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering-holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. You will find the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard among others. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meter from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water diner and overnight Serengeti Tortilis Camp.
An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day. After a few hours game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro higlands with an option of visiting the masai community and learn their traditional culture, Late evening arrive for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mto wa Mbu for cultural visit to the local women and learn how they do their daily activities including farming, small women financing groups, you will have local lunch with the local women to taste the local African food. After lunch drive back to Arusha Airport for flight to Zanzibar upon arrival meet and transfer to your beach hotel, Overnight at Fun Beach Resort.
