Tour Plan
On the first day, you will depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park. You will be picked up at 05:30 and have a drive for about 5 to 6 hours, with a stop for lunch on the way. Upon your arrival, you will go for an afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as a large number of giraffes, buffalos, and elephants. You may also spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. You may likely to see zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, and antelopes. In the late evening, you will be going back for dinner. Then, you will check in and spend the night at Budget banda inside Mikumi NP.
After a very early breakfast, you will go for a half-day game drive across the Mikumi National Park. You will take your packed lunch boxes and enjoy the abundant wildlife of the park. The Mkata floodplain is recommended for you to visit. On this attractive point of the park, you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, and impalas. This spot also has a large number of bird species. In the early afternoon, you will depart from Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam, have a lunch break on the way, and arrive at Dar es Salaam in the late evening. You will be escorted back to your hotel or your flight back home.
