Three Days enjoy mikumi is a safari tour for animals view in the nature, this safari will give you a wonderful idea about the national parks of Tanzania, you will enjoy the beautiful safari from Dar-es-salaam and back to Dar-es-salaam. The road is tamac and a bit traffic. This itinerary is suitable for the tourist who arrived in Dar in the afternoon or from Zanzibar by ferry. From the air port / ferry you may connect/start driving to mikumi National Park.

Tour Plan
After breakfast you will start driving to the exciting stop of your safari circuit. First you cross a vast and remote part of Southern Dar-es-salaam on some bumpy and partly dusty roads in few diversion due to the road constraction towards Morogoro Town and onwards to Mikumi National Park, where you reach your lodge in the afternoon or evening, depends on the time of departure from Dar-es-salaam. After arrival at the lodge you will enjoy the facilities and nice view of the park from your terrace. You may relux and prepare for the next day full game drive in the park. Later.
Today you explore Mikumi further on a full day safari. A day at Mikumi National Park provides a good impression of African safari wildlife and is very well suited for a short visit. There is a rich variety of bird species as well as large numbers of buffaloes and elephants, and a great many giraffe which can be seen traversing the plains with their unique ambling gait. Close to the water holes lions, leopards and hippos can also be found. Other species residing here include zebras, wild dogs, pythons, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephants, impala, warthog, eland and other antelopes. Several observation towers enable you to overview the rolling miombo woodland and wide open plains of Mikumi in its entirety – an amazing view. Together with an armed ranger you will also go for a walking safari to the bush while your guide shows you shrubs, footprints and animal tracks. This walking safari is an option for an extra cost, you may pay by visa/master card at the entrance of the park.
After a leisure breakfast you will drive back to Dar-es-salaam, depends on your schedule you may connect to your ferry / flight to Zanzibar or back home.
