This safari is a 4-day budgettrip starting and ending in Dar-es-Salaam. It's the real hidden beauty of Tanzania. Located a little more remote than the other parks, but this means there are very few tourists! You'll experience the reel bush feeling in this wonderful national park with a huge amount of wildlife. You'll have a total of 2 days gamedrive, a good amount of time to discover the beauty of Ruaha National Park.

Tour Plan
Between 6-8 AM, you will be picked up at your accommodation in the city. You'll start your journey to Iringa. This trip will take about 9-10 hours. If you haven't had breakfast yet, you can stop on the way to pick up some local breakfast snacks. You will stop on the way for a lunch as well. Prepare yourself for a long day in the car with good views. The long journey will be long, but definitely worth it as Ruaha National Park offers some of the best game drives in the country! You will sleep in a room at Iringa Sunset Hotel, where you can have dinner as well. Get a good nights sleep here and prepare yourselves for a great start of your safari adventure the next day!
Rise and shine! Today you have a whole day of wildlife watching waiting for you. After a breakfast at the lodge, you'll start your day full of nature and wildlife. Between 6-8 AM, you will head to the park. You will drive about 2 hours on a rough road with good views untill you reach the entrance. Your gamedrive will start here! Between 12-14 PM, you will have a hot lunch at the restaurant inside the park or you will have a picknick in the park. If you want to make a big tour, we suggest to opt for a lunch box so you can go far from the entrance. If you prefer a hot lunch, you can opt for a lunch at the park restaurant for no extra cost! Around 5:30PM, you'll start your journey to the lodge just outside of the park where you can get some rest after a busy day! You will sleep in a room or safari tent at Jimbiza Camp. You decide yourself (within the regulations of the parks) when you will start and end your safari.
Wake up and enjoy your morning in the bush! Today you have a whole day of wildlife watching waiting for you. After a good breakfast at the camp, you'll start your day full of nature and wildlife. Between 6-8 AM, you will head to the park. You will drive about 20 minutes until you reach the entrance. Your gamedrive will start here! Not a morning person? No problem! You can decide the start and end time of your safari yourself. Between 12-14 PM, you will have a hot lunch at the restaurant inside the park or you will have a picknick in the park. If you want to make a big tour, we suggest to opt for a lunch box so you can go far from the entrance. If you prefer a hot lunch, you can opt for a lunch at the park restaurant for no extra cost! Around 4 PM, you'll start your journey to the lodge in Iringa where you can get some rest. You will sleep in a room at Iringa Sunset Hotel, where you can have dinner as well. Get a good nights sleep here and enjoy the last evening of your trip!
Unfortunately, your Ruaha adventure is over. Between 6-8 AM you'll head back to Dar-es-Salaam. After 9-10 hours driving, you'll arrive at your accommodation in Dar-es-Salaam. If you plan on taking a flight to Zanzibar or have your international flight back home, make sure to inform us with your time of departure so we can plan your return on time!
