Tour Plan
Early this morning we depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park to spend the remainder of the day game viewing in the park with a picnic lunch, this afternoon ascend the escarpment walls and head to Lake Manyara Kilimamoja for dinner and overnight
After breakfast this morning we depart the lodge and enter the Ngorongoro crater for game viewing with picnic lunch. After lunch we descend onto the Serengeti plains and make our way to Dunia camp by Asilia, the perfect base for the next two nights, arriving for dinner and overnight.
Full day exploring the Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Dunia Camp. Arguably the most famous National Park in the world, the Serengeti Ecosystem (the name comes from "siringit" the Masai word for "endless plains") consists of some 35,000 square kilometres. The famed plains are found to the south of the park east of the Seronera Valley, rolling hills in the less-visited Lobo area to the north and wooded riverine valleys to the remote east around Kirawira and Grumeti. The park itself is about 14,763 sq km in area and encompasses the main part of the Serengeti ecosystem. The ecosystem is defined by the annual migration of over 1,500,000 million wildebeest, zebras, and associated predators, which occurs throughout the year and extends into the game reserves, game controlled areas, and conservation area surrounding the park boundaries.
After breakfast this morning we depart Serengeti for Tarangire National park game viewing as we make our way back to the Ngorongoro highlands down the escarpment and into the Elephant dense park that is Tarangire. Upon entry, we game view as we make our way to the Lodge arriving for dinner and overnight. We also take the opportunity for a night game drive.
After breakfast this morning we game view in Tarangire before making our way back to Arusha arriving late afternoon.
