Tour Plan
Time 8:30am - 10:30am Distance 140KM. After breakfast starting safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and Oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lion, leopard and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game viewing and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Zion Camp.
Time 8:30am - 01:30am Distance 210KM. 8.30am After early breakfast we leave for Serengeti National Park, driving through Ngorongoro conservation area, with optional of visiting Olduvai Gorge (known as cradle of mankind the hominids dating 2millions years back). The game drive takes us to the vast Serengeti plains home of the big game animals, the predators, great migration and the Nile crocodiles. 06:30pm At sunset you are drive for dinner and overnight Seronera Campsite
After breakfast follows a morning and afternoon game drive in the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with game viewing to the north east of the park. This is Lobo area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration has passed. Dinner and overnight is at Serengeti Lobo Campsite.
Early morning after breakfast follows a morning and afternoon game drive in the migration point area to see the crossing again. In the afternoon, you will continue with game viewing to the north east of the park. This is the LOBO area where you will have dinner and overnight is at Lobo campsite.
After breakfast, depart from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti then head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight at.
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the big five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, drive back to Arusha.
