Tour Plan

Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro Airport, you'll meet your Mropean Safaris representative and transfer to the Africa Amini Maasai Lodge. Operated by the local Maasai community, this unique lodge offers an authentic blend of traditional Maasai architecture and modern comforts. Spend your afternoon participating in Maasai-led activities, including guided nature walks to learn about traditional medicines, spear throwing, and handicraft lessons. Enjoy a traditional Maasai lunch and witness a sunset singing and dancing ceremony. Overnight in a Maasai-inspired hut, where you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of nature.

Start your day with a visit to one of Arusha's renowned coffee plantations, where you will learn about the coffee-making process from bean to cup. Discover the rich history of Arabica and Robusta coffee, taste different brews, and gain insights into why coffee is one of Tanzania's largest exports. This immersive tour offers a chance to appreciate the skill behind the perfect cup and to understand how coffee farming supports local communities.

Depart Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Rise early to join the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last true hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, for a unique hunting demonstration. Learn about their ancient survival techniques, including crafting poisons for hunting and using traditional bows and arrows. Visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths who create beautiful metalwork using age-old methods.
