Tour Plan

On this beautiful day, you will be met by our driver guide who will greet you, take you through the itinerary, and then hit the road to Kibale via Fort Portal road. This countryside drive has lots of attractions as you head to your destination. You will have stopovers for scenic viewing since this countryside is famous for rolling hills that are settled and they give the best scenery. Lunch will be served in Fort Portal, Uganda’s tourism city. You will later proceed to Kibale the home to chimpanzees, connect tour lodge, check in, have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Arise in the morning, have a delicious breakfast, and transfer to Kanyanchu for briefing about the chimpanzee trekking, you will be assigned a chimpanzee family to track, and head to the off-beaten paths of Kibale Forests. Always an hour is given to you to spend with primates, and take pictures and videos, the forest is endowed with a variety of species including birds, bush pigs, forest elephants, and baboons, among others. You will return to the lodge for lunch, take a nap and in the evening you will visit Bigodi wetland which is famous for shoebill storks, red-tailed monkeys, olive baboons, and birds among others. Retire to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Arise in the morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, get your luggage, and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s open savannah national park. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, and birdlife where there is a recorded number of birds to be 620 birds. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, have lunch, and then go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This is the best place where you will stretch your eyes to see an expanse of water that joins 2 lakes Lake Edward in Congo and Lake George in Uganda. You will enjoy seeing animals on the shores swimming and quenching their thirst, some of these animals are; buffaloes, elephants, hippopotamuses, and birds, and enjoy the sunset view while you are on the board. Seeing the sun falling while on the water is another paradise on earth, return to the lodge in the evening, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Arise in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, do a game drive in the Ishasha sector where you will meet tree-climbing lions, herds of buffaloes will welcome you and elephants, enjoy a picnic lunch and bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth, and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will arrive in the evening, connect to your lodge accommodation, and have dinner and an overnight.

Arise in the early morning to meet your dream, have breakfast, and be transferred to the park headquarters to be guided about gorilla trekking. You will be given a gorilla family to track, head to the jungle with a ranger guide who will help you locate the gorillas, spend an hour with them, return to the headquarters for a gorilla trekking certificate, and proceed to the lodge for lunch and in the evening, visit Batwa community who will dance for you, sing for you and they will take you through ancient stories, they also have art crafts which you can buy and the family will be able to secure dinner. After this experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you will have your early breakfast, check-out, and transfer to Kampala. The first stopover will be in Mbarara for lunch, and visiting the Igongo Cultural Center where Ankole culture is exhibited. You will embark on your journey, a second stopover will be at the Equator where you will take pictures standing in both hemispheres of the earth. Embark on the journey to Kampala, arrive in the evening, head to your booked hotel, have dinner, and overnight.

You will wake up in the morning, enjoy a mouthwatering breakfast, meet your driver guide, and then transfer to Jinja. You will take a tour of the Mabira forest, visit Ssezibwa Falls, and proceed to Jinja. Arrive in the afternoon, connect to your hotel, check in, have lunch, head to the source of the Nile where it escapes Uganda to the Mediterranean Sea, and then proceed to enjoy your white water rafting activity.

You will wake up in the morning at your time of convenience, check-out, and transfer back to Kampala. If you have time you can engage in horseback riding, and quad biking among other activities. The driver will drop you in Kampala and this will mark the end of your trip.
