Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arriving at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), Mropean Safaris representative will meet you and transfer you to your comfortable hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure, taking time to relax and prepare for your safari adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart Dar es Salaam for Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Arrive in the afternoon and embark on a scenic boat ride along the Rufiji River. The cruise offers an intimate view of the park’s wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.
Spend a full day exploring Nyerere National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Traverse its expansive floodplains and dense woodlands, encountering large herds of elephants, lions, and wild dogs. Each drive offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities in this vast and remote park.
Depart Nyerere National Park after breakfast and travel to Mikumi National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and embark on a short game drive to get acquainted with the park’s environment. Mikumi’s open savannahs and woodlands provide excellent opportunities to spot buffalo, giraffes, and elephants.
Enjoy a full day of exploration in Mikumi National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Discover the park’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, including lions, zebras, and various antelope species. Take in the picturesque scenery and enjoy the excellent game viewing opportunities.
After an early breakfast, travel back to Dar es Salaam. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some free time to explore the city or relax at your hotel. Spend the evening enjoying the city’s vibrant atmosphere or unwind before your next adventure.
Fly from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar in Stone Town. Spend the afternoon exploring Stone Town’s historic sites, including the House of Wonders, Sultan’s Palace, and bustling markets. Check into your beach resort in the evening and relax.
